Learn About The Falkirk Wheel & The Kelpies
The Falkirk Wheel is a rotating boat lift based in a small town called Tamfourhill. It opened up in 2002 as part of the Millennium Link Project to connect the Forth & Clyde Canal with the Union Canal for the first time since the 30s. On the other hand we have the Kelpies, one of Scotland's modern art masterpiece's, sculpted by Andy Scott. This Scottish myth is believed to be a shape-shifting, underwater creature, that disguises it self as a horse on land, see it for yourself!
How Long Does it take to Arrive to the Kelpies?
It only takes a 40 minute drive from the pickup location to the beautiful horse-head sculptures and even less of a journey to the Falkirk Wheel.
