FAQ's
Do you offer hotel pickups in the departure cities?
Yes we do, once you have booked your tour, Saltire will contact you to confirm your preferred pickup location within Glasgow, we can also pickup from any location in Scotland if you prefer although additional mileage charges may apply depending on location.
When should I get to the departure point?
Our drivers will arrive 15 minutes before the booked time, please make sure you are ready to depart on time to maximise your sight seeing time.
What happens if I'm late or miss the tour?
If you're late for your tour, our cancellation policy applies. 100% charges are applicable, and you will not be entitled to a refund or alternative.
What are your cancellation policies? You will receive a full refund if you cancel with 48 hours notice or more, unfortunately we apply a different cancellation to tours than our standard taxi and private hire services due to the additional preparation and pre allocation that is planned for tours. Any cancellation with less than 48 hours notice would result in a 100% charge being applied

Can Itineraries change?
You are only limited by your imagination, Our tour guides have a fantastic and varied knowledge of Scotland and can tailor your tour to suit your own interests and desires. See parts of Scotland the cookier cutter tours don't offer.
Am I sharing with another party?
Our tours are booked on a per party basis, your group will be exclusive and only your party will be on the vehicle.
Are there toilets on the bus?
Unfortunately, we have no on-board toilet facilities, but you'll have regular comfort breaks.
How do you cater for people with accessibility needs?
We aim to accommodate everyone. If you have any specific requirements please get in touch and we can look at how we can assist you.
Do you take children on your tours?
Yes we do, although we would ask you to notify us of any children under the age of 12 or 1.35 meters in height to allow us supply the appropriate car seats.
How much time do I get off the bus?
You are only limited by the length of time you have booked for your tour, If you want to spend more time at a particular attraction or site that is entirely up to you. Your Tour, Your way.
Do we need to bring our own lunch?
You don't need to. There is always plenty of places to stop where you can have access to a range of food to suit any taste or budget.
Should I tip the driver-guide?
This is fully at the customers discretion.
